Like the melanin is all poison...
Telling me how I should try a new cream, cos the one I use or do not use does not bring out my "true color" like being black isn't my true color? Like I didn't stroll out of my mothers womb stamped black all over?
I have never been one to go with trends, and I think you wanting me to change my skin color is just a way of justifying to
yourself that everyone would do it ..change their skin just like you did!
I wont make you feel better, I wont join you to make you feel less of a coward...scared of your own skin....if only you could make your shadow change too....but it still remains BLACK!
Not only do you want me to change my skin, you want me to be more "girly" which in your world means wearing hair I cant afford, having nails like a pitchfork and wearing makeup that makes me look like one of those girls a thrown stone can randomly hit! But I am not them!

I am pissed that you think my skin color has become a hindrance of some sort! I am pissed at how short sighted you are, for you do not choose to see the things that make me unique, to hear my voice and listen when I speak...telling you how I love me, for I am made in the image of my father!
